As a tutor, I have the unique advantage of still being an undergraduate student myself, as I'm working on a double major in electrical engineering and sociology along with a mathematics minor at Hope College. This can be especially great when connecting with students who are preparing to take the ACT or SAT, as I recently took the ACT and am now taking many engineering, math, and science courses. I've also worked as tutor in the private sector and at Hope College for several years. Because I've worked with a wide range of students, I have firsthand experience with breaking down difficult concepts into more understandable language. I'm excited to help students in pre-algebra, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, differential equations, pre-calculus, calculus 1, calculus 2, and calculus 3. Along with providing individualized help with mathematics, I can also give students assistance in developing good study habits to ensure success in college courses. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy learning and performing magic tricks, running, tap dancing, playing with electronics, writing, and juggling.
